The Dinner and Presentation will be at:

Shepherd of the Rockies Lutheran Church
106 Rosalie Road

And, the admission is $10 for non-members of the PCHS and $8 for members. So, if you are not a member and want to be, save yourself $2 by joining at the door.

And, there is more good news.....As is our custom, seniors over 80 will be our guest at no cost.

You had in your midst for 15 years someone degreed in Archaeology & History and a Master’s in Heritage Management.

Is this cabin worth saving?

Image

What makes a cabin (or building or mine) worth saving?

Are there qualities it needs to have?

Does it have to be a certain age?

Does it have to look cool?

What do you think?

While we are dissappointed that Andy could not be with us on Saturday. However, we are very pleased that Christie Wright has stepped in to present the history and heritage of Park County.

Christie serves on the Board of Directors of the Park County Historical Society. She also serves as President of the Park County Local History Archives. She has authored several books and is very knowledgeable of the heritage and history of the pioneers that settled in Park County and the settlements they called home.

Christie will use the recently published book "Park County" which is part of the "Images of America" series published by Arcadia Publishing. The book, under Christies leadership, was researched and compiled by the Directors of the Park County Local History Archives. It will be available for purchase at the dinner and I am sure Christie will autograph it for you on behalf of the Archives.

Don't miss this very informative presentation.
