August 17th is coming up fast.

Come on neighbors, help us help the Barrios Cline's create defensible space around their home.

The work we accomplish here benefits the entire community. With each property we mitigate we are reducing the potential adverse impacts from a wildfire in your neighborhood.

Come volunteer an hour or two or spend the day with us.

Get to know your neighbors. Every hour counts.

THANK YOU, THANK YOU, THANK YOU.

OUR COMMUNITY CONTINUES TO IMPRESS ME!

We asked for help to create defensible space through mitigation of Ken Barrios / Margret Cline’s property, and you responded.

Eighteen volunteers fell, limbed, bucked, dragged and stacked slash on Saturday. Their combined efforts totaled 79.5 hours. Margret put on a great lunch that kept our energy level up.

Our Bailey residents are recognizing the importance of the mitigation work Burland Firewise is performing. Once again, we had volunteers from outside of the Burland and adjacent communities. Volunteers came from as far away as the Deer Creek / Harris park area.

Burland Firewise will be announcing our ninth Saws & Slaws event in the near future.

Thank You, Thank You, Thank You to the Bailey Community and our Volunteers.
