The gas furnace will need a new spring in the gas control valve, and the gas orifices will need to be re-sized properly for the lower pressure and lower BTU gas. The water heater should have a new gas control valve installed as most water heater manufacturers do not recommend trying to convert their gas controls. The water heater would also need to have the gas burner orifice and pilot orifce re-sized for natural gas. The range gas control valves are normally set up to just have the top button on the gas control flipped over from a propane setting to the natural gas setting, and the orifices for the burners and oven will need to be re-sized as well.
The furnace would run about $75.00 materials and labor.
The water heater would be about $175.00 materials and labor (this includes the new gas control valve)
The range would be about $75.00 to convert.
The total would be about $325.00 for all of the appliances. If Colorado Natural Gas is providing you the gas service they may offer you a better deal to get you as a customer, you might check with them also.

Thanks,
Steve

Just wanted to give Steve a shout out for a job well done! Definitely give him a call on with your HVAC issues.

Steve was most accommodating to MY schedule (when I made the call), was on time (while I was running late), professional, courteous and friendly. And then he got to work, diagnosed and fixed the problem in my furnace in short order. All at a very reasonable rate.

Thank you Steve! I will not hesitate to call when I need your services again.

Arlen

We are so interested in on-demand water heaters. But our current water heater is electric. I believe Rinnai makes an electric one, but I've also read that they are not that efficient. Can you help with info, please? Also, what is the installed price, approx? Thanks!
