My daughter hit the guard rail yesterday during bad weather and received a lovely ticket from the State Trooper. She is ready to pay the ticket, but since she is a minor (17 years old) she has to have the ticket "notarized" with her parents signature.

Can someone tell me where there is a notary in the Pine Junction area??

Thanks

Fairplay Flume in downtown Bailey, or try Dynamic Props on 285 before Crow Hill.
You may find one at the Choice Property office too.
If all else fails, PM me and I'll meet you on 285 this afternoon with my stamp & seal.

the ladies at Deer Creek Realt;y will notarize for a nominal donation to Mountain Peace Shelter--probably less expensive than a bank

Phil Campbell's State Farm office next to Safeway in Evergreen can notarize. Both Phil and Kim are registered notaries.

Just to let everyone know, Firstbank also notarizes documents for free. There is a Firstbank in Conifer right by King Soopers

Same with Bank of the West, although they do ask that you be a customer.

Just for clarification, Colorado Notaries are authorized to charge for notarial services. According to the Colorado Secretary of State website, from the FAQ section,

"44. What fees may a notary legally charge?
Colorado law states the maximum fee allowed for a notarization is $5 and shall include:
• Receiving evidence of the signer’s identity
• Administering an oath or affirmation (if applicable)
• The application of the signature, notarial certificate, and seal of the notary"

This just sets a maximum charge for the service, you are not required to charge for the service if you do not wish to.
