This site has some info about a short return of the camp in the 70s. Haven't found anything about it's earlier history.

In 1983 the Jeffco Outdoor Lab School - Windy Peak (current owners of the property) published "In the Shadow of Storm Mountain' - The History of OELS- Windy Peak with research and text by Jackie P Earnhart with art work by Jeannie Neal (74 pages) There are 4 pages of footnotes for reference.
This gives a full history of the property from 1872 forward. I would try contacting the school first. I think it may still be a handout for attending students.
If you can't find a copy, contact me and I will lend you mine.

I remember Sylvania of the Rockies from the 70's. I believe I stayed there for camp with the Girl Scouts...or something else. I do remember one of our Girl Scout camps was at the Flying G?J?...the one that was up on Stoney Pass. I would love to find a copy of "In the Shadow of Storm Mountain" because now I live 2 miles from the old Sylvania...aka Windy Peak.

Actually, that document contains the entire history of the place, and was derived from "In the Shadow of Storm Mountain".
