A bit off topic, but.....

I know every old building can't be saved. But, occassionally, someone with the vision, will, and means saves as many historic structures as possible.

Over 50 years ago, South Park City in Fairplay began such an endeavor. Today, with seven structures on the original locations, over 40 buildings now serve as a reminder of pioneer life in the late 1880s.

South Park City is a museum like none other. There are over 60,000 pioneer artifacts, all donated by those who wish to preserve a bit of Colorado's pioneering hertiage.

When you have a minute, take a tour of what many call the "Gem of South Park".

Opening Day May 15

That's my favorite part of the museum, all the antiques. I can sit there forever looking at them, especially the medications...crazy what they used back then.

The South Park website you linked to Jim is very well done. That would be a good thing for anyone to read prior to going to see the building and artifacts in person, there is so much information there.
