Three more titles specific to the DSP&P:

Denver, South Park, & Pacific by M. C. Poor, 1976 (long out of print, highly collectible, and expensive-$125 for my less than perfect copy, but worth it)

The South Park Line by Mallory Hope Ferrell, 2003 (new copies can be found)

Colorado & Southern Narrow Gauge, by Mallory Hope Ferrell, 1981 (also collectible, but cheaper)

All three of these are loaded with area history and photographs. I recommend them.

I almost forgot these, but anything under $100 is a bargain.

The Mineral Belt, VolumeI-Old South Park-Denver to Leadville, by David S. Digerness, 1977 (highly collectible and sought after by modelers)

The Mineral Belt, Volume II-Old South Park-Across the Great Divide by David S. Digerness, 1978

The Mineral Belt, Volume III-Georgetown-Mining-Colorado Central Railroad by David S. Digerness, 1982

If anyone wants more information about any of Colorado's narrow gauge roads, just ask. I have about a hundred titles and more on the way.

Mountin' Man, by H. Ray Baker

Too funny, and fun to figure out who he is talking about- he changed most of the names.

Colorado's South Park: High Country Paradise

Here's a new, incredibly beautiful book on South Park by Bernie Nagy, one of the Board members for South Park City in Fairplay. His photography just blows you away. Pine Library has a copy but the book is well worth the price if you love South Park.

We were cleaning off the bookshelves and came across our signed/autographed copies of "Century of Jefferson County Mountain Area Schools; by Phebe Granzella, 1993 " of which I drew the cover art for at the request of Norm Meyer. Gosh, had forgot all about this! :)
