Closed on Wednesdays? Sounds like my golfer doctor back in the 80's. There are a lot of better places to eat that come to work without needing a mid-week break.

Anybody think maybe they need to do some work/upkeep on their building during business hours when they can get plumbers or other maintenance when those people are available? From a business stand point you would choose your lightest business day or days to have needed work done. Oil refineries shut down for months for maintenance and drive gas prices up. Any business requires maintenance and some you cannot do with a restaurant full of people. Just a possibility, I had a nice meal there and they had their water go out and they had to turn people away until they could fix it.

And there you have it, the ongoing, high quality posts on Whinecam. It is a wonder anyone tries to provide a service business for some of these "inhabitants".

Roz, my common thought when seeing a post like that is to wonder just how long that person would last if he or she ran a restaurant 7 days a week. I for one have no issue at all with a restaurant closing one day a week.

Crossroads - my favorite spot to grab a beer and food when coming home or during the weekend, especially warm days like recent on the deck...it's getting boring reading about people whining when there are plenty of other options to chose from if desired IMO.

Neither do I. In fact, I fondly remember when the town closed up on Sundays, evenings, and holidays.

Closed at 7:30pm on a Saturday night. Getting tired of the inconsistent hours and closing early. :evil devil: Derrick Thai here we come!
