I don't listen to gossip or rumors and have no interest in either. I judge a place based on its own merits. And an owner has every right to run their establishment as they see fit. The only unsolicited advice I have for CrossroadsOwner is the same advice I repeat over and over to other restaurant owners. DO NOT waste your time arguing with anyone via pinecam. Its always a losing proposition with diminishing returns. In fact, don't even respond to negative posts. You'll just end up with a long, drawn-out, negative thread of he-said-she-said posts. The fewer negative posts the better. Forget the high road! Take the road less traveled. I wish you future success!

I have to agree with Mtree. Trying to argue your case in Pinecam is an exercise in futility. If you cured cancer, someone would be on here cussing you out for putting cancer researchers out of work. Drive on Brother. Don't look back. Because only politicians can rewrite history, the rest of us learn from any mistakes we may make and move on. Life is way to short.

I'm on the other side - I think it is VERY good for owner's to respond to concern's spelled out in consumer forums. Of course it has to be done in the most positive way possible - and laying on the facts of how you're improving your restaurant and not getting off topic with police matters or personal conflicts. For example, one reason I will NOT patronize a place like Aspen Perk is because the owners DON'T seem to respond to or care about the slew of negative complaints.

I appreciate CrossroadsOwner's updates and wish them well in their future endeavors.

This incident, and the video showing it, actually made the local FOX Late News (San Diego) three days ago. (Not sure why they waited this long to show it.)

We have had a great response to our new menu launched last week.

Our unadvertised "local" specials from which are always updated on facebook:
Early Bird Special Mon-Thurs before 5pm:$9.99 burger, ff, beer/soda
Monday: Pizza Night $4 off large pizza's
Tuesday: Kids eat free with adult meal and open pool tables.
Wednesday: Try our new Entrees including our BBQ ribs with housemade sauce 15% off.
Thursday: Happy Hour & Early Bird Special all night long.
Friday: Live Bands!

I will try to turn this thread back around to updating on restaurant activity and responding to customers.

Does Crossroads still have the all you can eat pizza, salad and wing buffet once in a while? My wife and I had it a couple of times and it was really good!

We do not currently do a buffet or all you can eat, however, that could change in the future. I'll keep you posted if it does. I have considered an all you can eat pizza night.

Hey, if you are taking suggestions, I really loved the sandwiches served as wraps.

Seems a little Homer like... “What's the point of going out? We're just gonna wind up back here anyway.” Gave me a good laugh I might just have to do it.

We added the veggie pesto wrap which is a spinach wrap and we have large flour wraps as well. Most of my chefs remember the old recipes or we can make you a new one. We can also make up a variety of burritos but only have the Cod fish on the menu.

Hi Crossroads Owner, curious if you changed the wings? We like to splurge on pizza and wings once in an while, but never liked whatever they did with the wings there, seemed kinda 'bready', even the bone-in ones. Haven't tried them from there since last summer. Thanks!
