Love their steak and egg breakfast. Best little cut of meat I've had in long time. Excellent biscuts.

Thanks Skyler. We make the biscuits from scratch every morning and the steak is a USDA choice center cut 6oz sirloin. As a guy who really likes steak, I couldn't bring myself to use a lesser quality cut!

We are now serving a homemade red chili, and next week we plan to start selling creamy chicken soup!

For those who are unaware, we are now serving homemade rye bread as well as Reuben and Rachel Sandwiches. We are selling marbled rye loaves for $10 that are the same size as our white and wheat loaves.

I also want to mention that we had a bit of a problem with our corned beef earlier this week. We had a few complaints that the meat was not tender enough and hard to chew. We looked into these complaints and determined that the meat was indeed a bit more chewy than what is acceptable. We upgraded to a higher quality meat and adjusted our slicer to make the meat a little thinner. This seems to have resolved the issue with the tough meat.

Please come in and give it a try..

Are you open Monday's now? Website says that you are, but I remember a while back that you said you would be closed on Monday's.

we do not have control of crowhillcafe.com, the previous owner has never given us access and has actually renewed her lease on the domain name.

And no we are not open on Mondays,

Our hours are 6am-2pm Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday. We are open from 6am-4pm on Friday, Saturday, and Sunday!

No problem, just keep us updated here if hours/days change. Everyone needs a day off. We appreciate a great place to go for breakfast or lunch :eat: Now to get in and try that Reuben!

We have decided to put Crow Hill Cafe up for sale.

At this point, we do not wish to renew our lease for personal reasons. I know that there are not many restaurants in the area which is why we are attempting to sell the cafe as a business to someone local who will continue to run it and hopefully make it even better and provide great food and service to the Bailey area for years to come. If we are unable to sell the cafe, we will be closing sometime this summer and selling off all of the equipment. I know many of you will have questions, and I am happy to try to provide answers. We would like to thank all of you for the last 3 years of supporting us, we really appreciate everything you guys have done for us.
-Jeff

oops, forgot to mention that the for sale ad is in the real estate forum.....

This is truly sad news, but I cannot say I am very surprised. You guys work your tail off in there and the results showed it. Best of luck to you.

Rats - every time this place gets going good again it goes away! At least the domain name appears to be available again - maybe that could help a new owner. Best of luck in your future endeavors!

I am so sorry to see you go! Your family is wonderful, and we've enjoyed every meal we have had with you. Just know that all of your hard work and the great food has been appreciated! Places like Crow Hill Cafe make the area "home". Best of luck in whatever you do next. I know you will be successful in your next endeavor as well.
