I do not understand why so many people on Pinecam are so negative about new businesses starting up here.

Because it's really called WhineCam.

Well, MtnGoat, just to let you know, I thought your comment was funny (as in a joke)! Made me smile. Thanks I needed that today!

What we really need is either an IHOP, Villiage Inn or Dennys' restaraunt up here. A restaraunt with will American comfort food 8)

I would LOVE to see a full menu up here from a Denny's or IHOP. What a great gathering place that would be...

They opened yesterday at 4. I went there Wednesday after work thinking they might be open. They were setting up and training staff. I met the owner Miquel at the bar and although they were closed he served me two beers, chips and selza. He was very friendly and the selza was awesome. I will go back again this weekend.

I went there today for lunch with my wife to try it out. I second wildiris in saying that the food and service are good. I enjoyed it more than 3 Margaritas restaurant.

I'm definitely going to give them a try.

For those that have been already, is the food just typical Mexican?

Here is why you won't see an IHOP or Denny's
IHOP
Net worth of at least $1,500,000
Liquid assets of $500,000 per restaurant.
Denny's
Costs
Total Investment: $1,200,000 - $2,400,000
Franchise Fee: $40,000
Royalty Fee: 4%
Financial Requirements
Net Worth: $1,000,000
Liquid Capital: $350,000

Now all you negative Pinecammers attack!
