I forgot to post last weekend but we called ahead to get two breakfast sandwiches and they said 15 minutes and we got there in 14 minutes and they were both ready!

We tried the egg, sausage (pretty good and I'm not fond of sausage) and cheese on the most delectable homemade biscuit! Mr DL's biscuit was uncooked and "doughy" in the center but mine was perfection!

All for only $4 each! Can't beat it when you need something quick and to go - call ahead - it's worth the trip.

We, also, will be visiting the Crow Hill Cafe in the near future. It has been an interesting experience to watch this cafe's evolution over the years--from a closed, defunct filling station to what we Americans dearly enjoy--a success story made possible by the hard work of entrepreneurs like the current owners. Although we are in the area for a brief period of time each year, we always try to visit the Crow Hill Cafe a couple of times.

Just a friendly reminder that we will be closed for a week and re-opening Tuesday the 13th.

Thanks so much for your understanding and see you next week!

We have updated our menu a little bit. We had a great deal of requests for lunch sandwiches and wraps without sides, so we have separated sides from our lunch items. Not much has really changed, but we did add Strawberry Lemonade as a permanent addition to the drink menu.

Soon we will be starting to make a soup or two of the day, and we hope to soon be serving hot chocolate as a drink choice for the winter.

I know its early, but we thought we would get started taking orders for thanksgiving baked goods.
We are asking that all orders are pre-paid this year. Last year most people pre-paid, but some did not. We didn't have any issues last year with receiving payment, but it was a little confusing for us having some paid for and some not. If you would like to order something that isn't listed below, please come in or give us a call to discuss.

9” PIES
Cherry, Apple, Pumpkin or Peach - $10ea
Rhubarb or Strawberry Rhubarb - $12ea
Pecan or Mixed Berry Pie - $15ea

Breads
Bread Loaf (White or Wheat) - $6ea
1 Dozen Rolls (White or Wheat) - $6ea
Bread Braid (White, Wheat, or Both) - $7ea

Cookies

Chocolate Chip, Oatmeal Raisin, Snicker-doodles, or Sugar Cookies - $6dz

My family and I tried this place today for the first time and I have to say I am very impressed, in fact I prefer it to any restaurant in Bailey. Excellent menu options it almost felt like it was catered to my family of some what selectional eaters and the prices were very fair. We had a small miscommunication with the server and she had the rest of our order out very fast, my only complaint would be that although the home made Texas sized bread is yummy it is very hard for a small child to eat... Maybe have some thinner slices on hand for children or adults that can't handle this thickness? Over all a great place to eat. However be patient as they seem to be growing in popularity and the restaurant quickly got busy after we arived, so the server might need an extra minute or you might need to wait to be seated but, the food it worth it.. Yummy hash browns.

Now that you know how they slice the bread just request a thinner slice. We eat there regularly and they are more than happy to slice the bread any way you like.

In a part of the country that bread starts turning into a large croûton as soon as it hits the air, you gotta like a place that doesn't slice the bread until you order. :D

The only restaurant in Bailey with covered parking!

So glad I saw this thread, we tried this great little restaurant and the food was so delicious that we tried again.....and again. Such delicious meals and to have ice cream shakes, sundaes, etc. just wonderful! This definitely is our new place to go often. Thank you pinecammers. Bakery too so you can take home a pie.
I think this restaurant is definitely a 10 for us!
