I thought I saw several cars in their lot yesterday. Can anybody eating at China Village tell me if they are MSG free? I inquired on Derrick Thai's website email and they never answered me. We'd love to eat at either place if they are MSG free.

China Village is under new management and is not affiliated with Derrick Thai. Derrick Thai is still open although they are closed on Monday's.

According to the China Village take-out menu, they are open 7 days a week from 11-9pm. Not sure if they're MSG Free or not.....

Got some carry-out at China Village today. My go-to test items for a new place are Hot & Sour Soup and Drunken Noodles.
The soup was an excellent thickness with plenty of content to go with the broth. The Hot was nicely blended and did not overpower anything. The Sour seemed to be missing, and overall the soup was a little sweet for my taste. Nonetheless, I would still rate it highly appetizing.
The Drunken Noodles were outstanding! Very likely the best I have experienced anywhere. And the flavor was just as exceptional - sliced jalapeƱo, green onion, white onion, chopped peanuts, and half a dozen nice size shrimp. Adequate oil and brown sauce to cover the nice pile of noodles, but none left on the bottom of the carton when I finished. That's right! None. Since it was carry-out I expected the noodles to be sticking together, but they were not clumped at all! Very nice!
Fortunately I forgot to grab a menu, so I'll need to return for one.

Anyone have a phone number for the place?
I need to find out if they can prepare something
gluten free.
