Actually, the last bad review was last July! Maybe they've improved a bunch since then!

Stopped by yesterday around 7 for some burgers and beers - stupefied to find the place empty... Had an AMAZING green chili burger (so juicy, and wonderful) and a Fat Tire, wife also had a great burger and the fries are enough to stop in for themselves. For the life of me can't figure out why it wasn't packed. Wonderful service, great food and a great menu with lots of options. Used to like the burgers at Brooks, but they've stripped down their menu so much, that it's hard for me to justify going there on a regular basis.. Aspen Perk is a real treasure up here - let's support them and keep that cash register humming!

We ate there Saturday and the wife had premade previously frozen sausage patty. I had the premade previously frozen chicken fried steak and we both had the extra glossy scrambled eggs. Horrible for the price. Went to Crow Hill Cafe today, fresh sausage pattys with homemade bread. We know where we will be going from now on

We used to be constant customers and still go to eat there once in a while. However, our reason for a halt in trips to eat there is because you never can be sure what you are going to receive. Bad, Good, Bad, Different plate from last time even though menu the same. Once had nachos with meal next time no, we don't have nachos with that. I'm sort of weary of not knowing what is comming. So I'm giving up, sorry.

I have only been to Aspen Perk 3 times. The food was not bad-it was nothing that stood out as something I would crave every weekend. The service was fine...each time we went it was busy, so I understood that completely.

I will have to try Crow Hill Cafe.

Hubby and I had dinner on a Fri night. We both had the Prime Rib special. It was DELICIOUS! The meat was seasoned perfectly....I wish I had the recipe, it was that good. The baked potato and salad that came with it were really good, too. Homemade salad dressing with chunks of bleu cheese was so yummy and perfect. The potato was cooked just right and we had the option of having it loaded. Service was great, the staff was friendly, and Paula was especially nice. The Prime Rib is probably the best deal around for Fri and Sat nights. We are definitely going back!

We stopped in for a convenient dinner before grocery shopping and we were sad to see we were the only ones there, but wow what great food! I had fish and chips with homemade fried potatoes and it was great and my wife had the Buffalo ranch chicken salad which was awesome. The fried green tomatoes were wonderful too. Really nice to have a full bar as well.

We go there every once in a while for breakfast. The service is always great and the food is always delicious and plentiful. I always have to get a "to go" box. And anyone who knows me knows I eat like a horse! :)

Haven't been in the 'hood recently, but I heard that they were closed. Is that true?
