This is the first year I've really taken the time to id the birds I am photographing and I can't believe the variety we have up here. We are so lucky.

I noticed this bird house had hatchlings in and the parents were back and fourth, feeding them. The next day I came and all was quiet. I hope they managed to fledge.

Feeding time.

I'll bet they did. There are tons of small insects since we have a little moisture and the swift/swallow bunch seem to be a hardy lot. Their motion while hunting is hypnotic. Thanks for sharing the photos.

Aewsome pics. Their ariel maneuvers are interesting to watch.

As far as variety of birds, I had really pretty grayish birds (about the size of the Gray Juncos) with yellow on the crown of its head, a patch of yellow below its chin and yellow along its wings. However, I was never able to find the name of the bird (either online or in any of my bird books). This was the first year I saw them.
