There is deer carcas hanging over a fence along 72, on the left, between the switchbacks leading into Burland before the the first row of mailboxes. The deer is clearly mauled. Just FYI to fellow Burlanders.

Could be dogs too. Or coyotes. I don't know that mountain lions 'maul'

Perhaps the doe I saw a week or two ago with the extremely large tumor on her underside was unable to clear the fence
She was in bad comdition and could barely walk
