Yesterday, Monday, we were on the road up to the Bristle Cone Pine Park above Alma and saw this:

We have had two very warm and dry falls in a row. I sure hope for a snowy fall this year.

The San Juan Mountains had snow last weekend. Some of the Aspens here on Conifer Mtn are beginning to change already. There has been many cold nights since the beginning of July; really not surprised.
