All,

Some bad news with Eddie6string. He has incurable liver cancer and has been sent to be with his family in his home for hospice care. I am attaching his gofundme page for incidentals that they have incurred beyond insurance coverage. Yes, they have already met their goal but every little bit helps and I know his Pinecam friends would at least like to know what is going on. Please help if you can.

TIA

Choco, thank you for sharing this information here. Eddie is one of pinecams old timers.
I’m sorry to learn of what he and his family are facing now. It’s very moving to see the immediate support given them in their time of need.
I hold them all up in prayer for comfort and strength.

Jo,

Yes he is! He played at our first party we had after the Hayman fire and was involved in a lot of our gatherings. Even donated some of his music time to help raise money for other pinecammers in need.

A photo from that pinecam party in 2002.

All, I have just read at mymountaintown.com that Eddie6string passed yesterday. There will be a celebration of life at 3pm on Tuesday May 7th at The Barn at Evergreen Memorial Park. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Eddie Wesselhoff's GoFundme for end-of-life costs.

So sad to hear this. I haven’t posted here in quite a while but my favorite thread ever was Couch Potato Football Banter where he and I had a great time ribbing each other over the Packers-Bears rivalry. I never met him in person but could tell from his posts on Pinecam that he was a good person. RIP Eddie6string.
