Beware of this business!! I hired these guys to clean my chimney....They showed up and proceeded to break my damper. My wife was at home at the time and I was working. They claimed the damper was broken and it needed to be fixed before they could clean the chimney. It was working fine before they messed with it. Next they went to my rental house where they proceeded to drop some of their equipment on my deck stairs and didn't take responsibility for that!!! My renter sent me a photo. My renter then stated they spent about 10 minutes "cleaning" that chimney. When I left them 3 messages to ask them what they planned to do to rectify these issues I received ZERO call backs.
Thus,I stopped payment on my check and still have not heard from these CLOWNS.

Truth is, I have had similar bad experiences with other sweeps in the area. Rarely am I satisfied. Either they broke something, took something, or price gouged the whole job. The tools to clean the stove pipe itself are cheap. Maybe $40 or less for the brush that attaches to a power drill. Brush from the top while sucking ashes with a shop vac from the bottom. A chimney with stones/brick and a liner could be a little more involved than your standard wood stove pipe job.

I have had some bad experiences over the years with chimney sweeps. Now I only use Mountain Man Fireplace and Chimney. Always happy with the people and the job they do and
the extra care they take not to make a mess.
