This couple does not have internet so please respond to the phone number posted with their permission. This is their FB post:

My husband are in need of help! Our House caught on fire on the 22nd and we've had all sorts of situations that were trying to handle and our truck or expedition is acting up and really needs a tuneup it's the service light is flashing which means we can't drive it anymore and this is the one vehicle we really need to have running so we can go to our appointments and take care of the situation at our house please if anyone could help us get this tuned up we do have the spark plugs and the resistors to get this done we are limited income right now and pay a little but not for a complete tuneup. This fire hit us at the most inopportune time but we are destitute. Please contact us at 7202262668. Thank you in advance.

These people are long time community members that in years past were the foundations of a food bank and have done many other contributions to our area. Please help as you can or ask around to mechanics you know. Their home is a total loss. Thank you!

I sent a text to a mechanic I know to see if this is something he can do.
But barring an offer from a individual to do the work, Im willing to contribute to a collection specifically to pay for the service on this vehicle. Anyone want to help?

This situation is going to be handled by the good folks at Sweet Peas Garage in Pine Junction.
They can get the vehicle in onMonday and if its what we think it is it will be in the ball park of $500.00
If its more involved it could go as high as $800.00

If your heart is moved to help Carolyn and Frank in this way, please contribute directly to their account at Sweet Peas Garage on Monday. 303 838 0201

These folks are long time Bailey residents who have contributed to the community in many ways including establishing an area food bank.
They have housing and clothing and food covered but their vehicles' needs are just one more pressing issue.

Thank you all in advance for any amount you can contribute.

Good Morning Pinecammers, I just wanted to remind people that the vehicle of our local fire victims will be worked on today at
Sweet Peas Garage, 303 838 0201.

If you are able to contribute to the cost of repairs it would be so greatly appreciated.

Ill be out of range most of the day, but will check in with the garage later to see how things have progressed and update this thread. Thank you all, sincerely. Jo

Pinecammers have done it again. I called the garage at noon and the repairs came in under quote and the entire bill had been covered. I know for a fact that pinecammers provided the lions share. Carolyn and Frank are truly filled with gratitude for this outpouring in the midst of their trials.
I am so thankful to live among such generous people. ❤️

I want to personally Thank each and every one of you! You have really touched my husband and my heart..You have all showed us how awesome our community is and will stay! We are back on the road and getting our house repaired, hopefully, we will be in our home by December 15th. Just in time for Christmas and the New year to come. I don't have the words to explain how much we appreciate all your help during this difficult time, so we will be just as active as soon as our home is done. God Bless you all.
