so if the population is 19,000 in Conifer, and there are two grocery stores, wouldn't a population of 9500 support one?

Park County = 17,166
Fine with me. I'll drive to Conifer.

Sorry, I have to ask where the 19,000 figure came from. I have a REALLY hard time believing that. If you said the "metro Conifer area" (to include Conifer proper, south Evergreen, Indian Hills, South Turkey Creek, North Turkey Creek, Critchell area, Pine Jct., Pine, Buffalo Creek (and even further east/south of there) and Bailey), then I might believe that number.

Of course the C of C says that, they have ulterior motives.

And here's a map of the 80433 zip code: https://colorado.hometownlocator.com/zi ... ,80433.cfm

And then this one...
https://roadsidethoughts.com/co/conifer ... census.htm : "As far as we can tell, Conifer has not been included in past Census counts, so there is no population information for this community."

So we don't even exist. :)
