We came through South Park, between Jefferson and Kenosha about 11:30 this morning.
There was lots of blowing snow and ice on Highway 285. Second car in front of us (north bound)
a gray SUV lost it, became airborne and flipped 360 degrees off into the fence on the east
side of the road. We pulled over and called it in. The young man in the car between us
jumped out and post-holed, running down to the crushed car. Got the couple out. Appeared to be
shaken but uninjured.

We headed on our way. Half a mile later there was a truck off the road on its side on the
corner at the bottom of Kenosha. Just happened, people assisting.

They both happened so FAST on that wind-blown, icy road. If you have to go south through the
Park make sure you are cautious and prepared.

So glad you are safe! I hate driving through there.

So terrible you had to witness that. And yes, terrible experience for all involved. But, glad everyone ok.

We must have been a few cars ahead of you. Saw the snow fly when the truck went off the road at the base of Kenosha. By the time we reached them, all were out of the truck and seemed to be OK. Thank goodness for the Park County Sheriff who happened to be in the right place at the time.

It was a bit of a harrowing drive through the Park today.
