Better to get rain even if it causes flooding! Without the rain the burn scars will only get bigger causing even more flood risk areas in the future.

Tornado Warning National Weather Service Denver CO 133 PM MDT THU JUL 5 2018 The National Weather Service in Denver Colorado has issued a * Tornado Warning for... West central Park County in central Colorado... * Until 200 PM MDT. * At 132 PM MDT, a confirmed tornado was located 7 miles west of Antero Reservoir, or 58 miles northeast of Gunnison, moving northwest at 15 mph. HAZARD...Damaging tornado. SOURCE...Weather spotters confirmed tornado. IMPACT...Flying debris will be dangerous to those caught without shelter. Mobile homes will be damaged or destroyed. Damage to roofs, windows, and vehicles will occur. Tree damage is likely. * This tornadic thunderstorm will remain over mainly rural areas of west central Park County. PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS... To repeat, a tornado is on the ground. TAKE COVER NOW! Move to a basement or an interior room on the lowest floor of a sturdy building. Avoid windows. If you are outdoors, in a mobile home, or in a vehicle, move to the closest substantial shelter and protect yourself from flying debris.
