One of the 'schroomers was curious about new medicinal uses for plants. Naturally, he sold the rights to the chemical imitation of Mycelium, but not the originals. It was produced by Big Pharma into a drug used to treat...

voletinitis.

Voletinitia turned into an epidemic of great proportions, and spread among all the woodland humans including the schroomers. And weren't they ever so happy to have found the cure....but then....

SERIOUSLY, Pinecam was founded as a chat room by a few friends who were mushroom enthusiasts. They added some local cams and became the best source of news and information in the area. While the major local TV stations said very little about our fires in the 2000s, local members had up to the minute information of the happenings from scanner monitoring, and word of mouth. An exceptional weather forecaster, wxgeek joined the team to give pinpoint reports for the area. They became the critical source of information for members and guests, alike. Things blossomed from there.

We are to thank Wayne Harrison for starting this whole, life-saving site!

Not to lessen anything wxgeek does he is very much appreciated but I believe RyFly was first and he is missed

That's right, RyFly was the first. Losing such a young man was really tough.
