May I please quote Emily Dickenson?

Will there really be a spring?
Is there such a thing as day?
Could I see it from the mountains
If I were as tall as they?
Has it roots like <columbines>?
Has it feathers like a bird?
Is it brought from faraway places
Of which I have never heard?
Oh some wise man!
Please do tell me
Where the spring time lies!

Thanks for the info wxgeek! Maybe June snow will fall this year! I don't garden so snow anytime doesn't bother me! I hope that those that do garden either have a greenhouse or the ability to bring their plants inside. I am sure it is a big challenge to garden up here!

All the snow in the yard was melted as of last weekend. With all the snow we received this week, I measured 8 inches this morning, with a coating of grapple on top. So, the snow is not as easy for my Goldens to walk through and they realize there is something different about the snow (the grapple).

June 20th, 2011 was the last measurable snow in June, and before that June 2003.

I am not remembering either of those events. Where was the observation point, wxgeek? Denver, or Conifer, or ...?
