Update: Turns out this is a giant splitter destined to become part of the Heartland Petrochemical Complex, a massive project to convert propane into plastic being built in Edmonton. 8O

The move is being masterminded by Mammoet, which specializes in 'self-propelled modular transporters' than can be joined together depending on the size of the option.

To move such a large object, a convoy of vehicles is being used.

The modular trailers hold the pipe up, while prime movers like diesel trucks pull the whole convoy.

The trailers, believed to be built by German company Scheuerle, can steer to get around tight corners.
