Welcome!

This is a wonderful place to live. Yes there is lots to learn about the mountain lifestyle, wildlife, etc. but that's part of the adventure.

Enjoy!

I agree: Bailey is Bailey and Conifer is Conifer. Hopefully we can all celebrate their differences!
I think the entire 285 corridor from Morrison to Buena Vista is delightful!

Welcome to Bailifer (that what we call Bailey and Conifer combined  ).

Only the folks in Conifer do that. Those of us in Bailey would rather not be associated with Conifer. ;)

Otherwise, welcome to the neighborhood.

I have lived in Conifer for 15 years and have never heard that. I think AL is just making [fecal matter] up. :rof laughing:

I learned that term right here on Pinecam. An even better one is "Tellurayton" referring to the three close towns in the San Juans, Telluride, Ouray and Silverton.

I just did a search and damn you are right. Well, anyway, I have never thought of Bailey and Conifer as part of the same town

I don't think that counts. Just because one poster jokes about Pine Junction over 10 years ago. :No way:

I agree, welcome and heres a way to keep safe and give peace of mind during fire season, which can be year round, sign up for Code Red Alerts in the county you live in, emergency alerts go to the phones you list be they land lines or cell phones.
