Does anybody have any experience with Neteo as an internet carrier? We will be relocating to the Swiss Village subdivision south of Pine Junction and need to fine an internet carrier. Our neighbor uses Rise, but unfortunately, Rise said they cannot provide us with service. What about Century Link? I would really like to find somebody with reliable service that won't be down every time I turn around. Thanks for your help.

Lots of good info.

If you'd like to reach out to us via our website at http://www.neteo.co/contact or give us a call at (720) 600-0770 we'd be happy to see if we can provide you coverage. We encourage you to read our review on this forum or just do a Google or Yelp search to see what our current customers have to say about us.

Thank you

A year or so ago I spoke with Neteo. They said they would have a customer site with a repeater available in a about a month. I live under a rock from their transceiver, so a reflected signal is needed. They failed to deliver. I've learned that I must not believe what that might say.

I'm a long time customer of Wispertel/Skybeam/Rise. Their service has gotten better. But it's scary when your provider needs to change its name.

Mountain Bell sucked/Qwest sucked/CenturyLink ... Well, you know.

I sound so negative above. I'm sorry. I use Century Link as a "broadband" backup to my Rise service. I've never seen CL deliver anything near their claimed 1.5 MB service. I guess I'm very negative when I mention the phone company, too. Delivering 50% of what they advertise is ... Well, that sucks, too.

Thanks for the comments, Rocky. I didn't realize it was going to be so difficult to find reliable internet service in the mountains.

RkyMtnFool - I'm not sure who told you we would have a repeater in about a month from that conversation, and a year later we'll likely never know. We are always working on adding new sites and it's very possible we were working on a site that fell through and unfortunately that means sometimes we just can't get service to an area.

I don't know where you're located, however, if you ever want to reach out to us directly we'd be happy to look at your location and we'll probably be able to figure out what happened and whether or not there are any expansion plans in that area.

In any event we're sorry that we weren't able to get you service.

eoM, thanks for your response. I no longer have notes on our conversation a year ago, nor on the follow up which may have been 3 months later. But that doesn't matter.

I'd love to have another reliable ISP. I'll try to get in touch on Saturday if you're open, otherwise on Monday.
