Talking with some friends about our dogs, and started talking about Aspen Creek vet. Conversation came to one of the old Veterinarians and we were wondering where Dr. Watson w/ Aspen Creek vet moved to? Does anyone know?

Do you really mean Aspen Creek Vet the one that is in the Oehlmann Park area of Conifer? I do not know if they have had a Dr. Watson there or not.

But I think you might be referring to Dr James Watson DVM of Aspen Park Veterinary Hospital. The vet that used to work with Doc Gurney... in the office along 285 near Big O tires etc.?

I have been told that Dr James Watson DVM left Aspen Park Vets shortly after Doc Gurney retired. It is my understanding that he has moved (or is in the process of moving) his practice down to town. I do not know where exactly. and can not find him on the internet.

If anyone knows where he is please post that info here.

Last I heard (a couple of weeks ago) Aspen Park Vets is still open. Doc Gurney came out of retirement to see patients, Dr Dave (the surgeon that's been there for years) is now seeing regular patients and Dr Questen (the mobile vet) is also putting in some office hours there as well.

I've been a long time, loyal customer of Aspen Park Vets. I honestly don't know what I am going to. Try Dr Q or find Dr Watson?

The Breckenridge Animal Clinic's web site lists him as a part time vet on their staff.

 Hmmmmm? Not sure about that?

I think that might be a different vet with the same name,
as the Dr James Watson that worked at Aspen Park vets got his DVM education at Iowa State.

I called Breckenridge, yep a different vet. That one is now retired and living in CA.

I think this might be our Dr Watson's new website. But the phone number listed doesn't work and there is no address.

We have been taking the dogs to Dr Watson for many years now and were surprised to hear he was gone. Our puppy has her shots on Friday and I believe we'll be seeing Dr Q. I understand they are looking for a permanent full time vet - Dr Dave and Dr Q are filling in until they find someone - and Doc Gurney is still working as well. We love the entire staff there and hope they find another wonderful full time vet like Dr Watson.

Just saw this on another website today:Image

It was upside down on the other site and couldn't get it to rotate....oh well, at least the info is there. He has started his own practice, per the other site. Hard to see, but it says: James E. Watson DVM 9886 W Girton Drive Lakewood, 80227 Office # 303-478-2543
