She just lost her mom and a wonderful friend of mine has adopted her. If you or anyone you know has a wheelchair for a medium/large dog, please contact me. We promise to pay it forward.

it looks like she is getting around pretty well! Three legged dogs do great. I had a collie who had to have her back leg amputated and she did not need any help getting around.
Maybe there is something I am missing?

lol That picture was obviously not taken recently (it's February, for starters.) This is not some desperate plea for help. Ella is 12-ish, her good back leg is overworked, the pain meds are damaging, she deals with uti's regularly, etc. We just want her to be as healthy and comfortable as possible in these waning years. We will easily and affordably build her a wheelchair if necessary...just thought that somebody might have one who had a dog that unfortunately no longer needs it and would like to donate it to a dog that does.

That would be incredibly wonderful and gracious of you. Not what I was expecting, but I sure as heck wouldn't turn it down.

Isn't that the truth CA?

I still think it would be a great project for engineering students as well CS!
