Finally found a little girl Corgi. Chef-gal brought her home yesterday. This little tri-colored cutie pie comes from Weiser, ID. I've been looking for a long time and my Christmas prayers were answered!

Don't have a name for her yet...leaning towards Fiona but I like Callie, too.

She's adorable and Chef-gal is the best! Either name looks like it will work for this cutie!

Callie is a doll! (I like that name better. ) May you have many happy years of love, obedience, and sloppy kisses.

OK...change of plans. I think the Corgi will officially be named...

Isabella.

Wikipedia wrote:
Isabella, Princess of Wales and Lady of Snowdon (c. 1222 – c. 1248) was the eldest daughter of William de Braose, Lord of Abergavenny, and his wife Eva Marshal (daughter of William Marshal, 1st Earl of Pembroke).

A very fitting name for a little girl Pembroke Welsh Corgi princess.

Gorgeous pup! Congratulations, BG and Chef-gal.!! :applause:

Isabella is definitely a Princess. :dog: And you have two choices of nicknames . . . Issie or Bella. ;)

Funny you said that! C-G likes Izzy and I like Bella. Maybe I'll call her Izzybells.

Several years ago when we adopted our 1st Corgi from IMHS we had a hard time naming her. Even did a "name that corgi" contest on Pinecam. After all the trouble of finding her a name (eventually deciding on Bobbi Ghanouj) we almost always just called her "Corgi"...cuz we had a houseful of JRTs.

Izzy! Izzy!! I have loved that name for years. I had a late friend whose Samoyed was named that. I just thought it was the cutest thing. :D

Yes - we're in a tizzy over "Izzy" !!!
She's so tiny, about the size of a guinea pig, a small-ish guinea pig.
Hairy's almost 11 mo old. Looking forward to Izzy growing a bit and those two wearing each other out.

BTW AL - BG has had plenty of that from me! Well, maybe not "obedience"... :rof laughing: :rof laughing: :rof laughing:
