One of the most highly esteemed dog shows starts tomorrow. While "rescued" has become my favorite breed, there are still others I am interested in following: Siberian Huskies, Samoyeds, and German Shepherds. This year, I want to check out the Labs, too, I keep hearing such great things about them.

What about you? Are you following any particular dogs or breeds?

German Shorthaired Pointer and Weimaraner. Fritz is my avatar here. Both breeds are people in a dog suit. Enjoy!

Jack Russell Terriers...or Parson Russell for the AKC crowd. Best of both worlds...big dog, little package.

Corgis. Because nothing is cuter than a Corgi. No...NOTHING!

My Golden Retrievers and I sit on the couch eating "bon bons" while rooting for the Golden Retriever. :dog:

Okay so a Golden Retriever has never won. It can happen, even if it is our dreams....

Pugs are my favorite but they never fare too well. I just love to watch all the beautiful dogs no matter what the breed.

I don't like that they've switched networks around the past couple years. Last year's hosts (I don't remember which network it was) were terrible. They didn't know much at all about the breeds when they went off script and gave out misinformation. It was really annoying.

I so glad Michael Lafave back as the announcer. He's been the voice of Westminster KC for many years. I really like his voice.
