My baby terrier chewed my upper denture. I am glad I have a back up denture. I got another denture

Wow -- I'm so lucky! My Samoyed pup chewed up a pair of snakeskin high heal shoes (about $100 which was insanely expensive back then). It was during a March blizzard (5 feet of snow that time), I had a terrible drive home from Ft. Collins, felt terrible, got in the door, threw my stuff down on the floor (including the tasty shoes), let Frosty out of her crate, and collapsed on the couch for the rest of the night.......

Northern breeds are independent, daring, curious, high energy, and intelligent -- a deadly combination! :D

I have had two dogs that have eaten hearing aids, the most recent about 8 months ago.

When our Lab was 9 months old she ate the front bumper off of our 82 Toyota Supra!

Our cat knocked a glass sculpture off the mantle that was also a family heirloom valued at $10,000. We let her live, but she was definitely on probation for a while!

My entry.

Our 7-month old Golden destroyed a headset for a cordless phone and a pair of Bose Quite Comfort noise canceling headphones on the same night.

I use both in my home office on a regular basis, so maybe she was jealous or maybe she thought they were attacking me.

A peach pie!

It looked like a tasty one, too. Never got to cut it-- it was on the counter cooling...

I agree, zookeeper.
Just to add my own tale of woe, I don't know what it costs to replace the interior roof liner and ceiling light of a 95 Jeep Grand Cherokee because our Libby dog ate ours years ago and we just drive it like that. It was a few days after Thanksgiving and we were visiting with BuyersAgent at her little blue house on Dellwood and left Libby napping in the Jeep. Libby had been enjoying many healthy portions of turkey scraps mixed in her supper for several nights. At some point during our visit, Libby had to "go". Libby is a very good dog and has great intestinal fortitude and I'm sure she held on as long as she could. She didn't want to "go" in the Jeep, so she tried desperately to get out. The roof liner and light were the path of least resistance but all the chewing and pawing were futile and so besides the shredded liner was some really vile used turkey and an extremely pathetic looking dog. We were stunned and appalled when we went to get in the Jeep. Poor kid, it wasn't her fault. Who could be angry at this face for very long.

A pair of socks, and one shoe...

She thought she was really showing me... :rof laughing:

I then gave her a sock and an old shoe...Never chewed up another thing.
Not even her toys.

I only think back on ...what if she ate my couch...

Would giving her a couch to chew...still work? :( :rof laughing:

When Taffy was a puppy she liked to tear up kleenex's out of the box. You know what? That's it! Almost 12 years later and she never tears up anything, not even her toys.....she is the best dog I have ever had. Went potty one time in the house when I was housebreaking her, and that's it. :)
