Has anyone had good luck planting lavender at 8500 ft. or higher? The type I tried didn't make it, but maybe I bought the wrong variety. Thanks!

these two varieties have been good to us for well over 10 years. have been able to take cuttings in fall and successfully plant in summer. they are now about 5 feet tall at this time but still not as large as we hope for them...

Thanks zchopper62 - I wanted to try lilacs so this will help! Do they attract bears?

I've had lilacs at all the places I've lived up here. Bears not interested. Elk might nibble, then leave alone. Deer not interested. Critter resistant!
