Ace Hardware in Pine Junction had them last I checked. They were expensive but much better than the ones at Big R which went on sale several times last year.

Creosote soaked rail road ties should not be used for a vegetable garden.

Some types of landscaping timber are also not advisable for vegetable gardens depending on how the wood was treated. If you are unsure of the chemicals used to treat the wood, then you can line the bed with a sturdy plastic.
