Bdogsgal, this breaks my heart to hear. Your Dad deserved so much better. My husband suffered a stroke while driving toward a Home Depot in Littleton. I knew it was bad as he argued with me while driving. The staff there at Home Depot were just wonderful.

I am hoping for your return to good health. Hugs!

Thanks for the shoulder mummydog.

So far, no issues. I was out chopping wood and stacking the pile and cleaning the garden. Still feisty as Jo says. I think we all need to watch the medical folks. My PCP is wonderful but some others not so much. Everyone please take care!

It's pretty sad when patients have to play doctor.

all I can say is it was an epic failure all around, your phys should have ordered a hold and call, that means they hold you until the radiologist reads the results to see if you need to go straight to hospital, once exam is done then a radiologist reads the image and writes report, nothing can be sent anywhere until radiologist signs off on the results, then sends them to your phys once phys reads the results then they are able to call patient with results, and then it can be posted on a patient portal, none of this can happen until files are reviewed. Patients must be their own advocates, the system is over whelmed, there is a shortage of phys and tech's.

That's how Labcorp works. Once my Dr. gets my results then Labcorp will put them on my portal....the Dr. always gets them first...but sometimes I'll see the results on the portal before the Dr's office calls.
