All I can say, is stay far away from this place. I will just say because of the manager/owner!

SAY MORE! What could possibly happened to the place? Sounds like a big mystery

all i can say is stay away, otherwise you are liable to "get [censored word] up" as the owner/manager told me

Continue to be puzzled by all the questionable reviews, as a somewhat regular at Golden Stix I have always been glad I stopped by and never had a other than a positive experience with wait staff or food. Definitely better for me than driving to town or other Chinese in the area (Bailey, PJ, Evergreen)

I agree. My wife and I love that place. We've been there a ton of times. Sure, it's not the most fancy place to eat - but the food is really good. The prices are decent, and the service has always been good for us. I also like the bigger portions. We can always take home some of our lunch for dinner that night.

Ditto to what Cash Larue wrote of Golden Stix. My wife and I eat there frequently, as we did today. The lunch menu is a real bargain with egg roll, soup, crab wanton, and so much of the main entree that we always have leftovers. Service is friendly and prompt. One of our favorite places to eat up here.

Hubby and I stopped for take out Wed. early evening. Ordered sweet and sour chicken, and moo shu beef, with fried rice. Friendly service and huge portions. Had enough leftovers for lunch the next day. Food was excellent!

I often get their large egg drop soup to go. For me, it's 2 lunches for $5.00! Can't beat it.

I wanted to write my review but I needed time to reflect on what happened at Golden Stix last week. We arrived at Golden Stix about 15 minutes before 7 pm and there was a party of five ahead of us. The waiter told us that the dining room was closed (there were three tables with customers in the dining room at the time) and that we would have to order food to go...turning away the party of five and the two of us. We drive 30 minutes to get to Golden Stix and we usually eat there twice a month. We told the owner that we would not return if he couldn't serve us. He didn't give an apology or an explanation, he just gave us a salute to let us know he didn't care to keep us as customers. He lost out on seven meals, I guess he doesn't need the business.

That is so weird. I’ve always had great service there. My wife and I ate there today. The staff was exceptionally friendly. The restaurant was actually busy. Almost every table was full, but they got my wife and I a table quickly, and the food was very good. Hopefully your experience was just a fluke. I’d be ticked off if I was you though. I don’t mean to undermine your experience.

Inconsistency at this restaurant is so consistent!
