64 Alfa Fire
Payne Gulch Road has been evacuated. This is a forest service land fire. 3 to 5 acres in size. The Shawnee VFW has been opened for evacuees. Pre- evacuation of. Brookside and Payne Gulch trailhead in effect.

Please note this is the 64 Alfa fire, not 64 acre as is being incorrectly posted in some platforms.

Im editing this as per clarification from Greg Vincent, owner of glen Isle:

"they just came in and notified us to be prepared, that we are in “pre-evacuation” status. Thanks all. Crazy!!!"

Winds in the fire area should remain relatively light from the south to southeast this afternoon at 5-10 mph, but RH values below 20% with warm temps. Winds could be gusty for a bit this evening from the west at 10-20 mph. Good RH recovery expected overnight with RH values above 45% and winds should remain light from the west at 5-10 mph.

Monday should see another warm day but winds should remain fairly light from the southeast at 3-8 mph with RH values around 20%. Slight chance for afternoon and evening showers and thunderstorms with little if any precip expected, but gusty and erratic winds could develop from outflows from nearby storms.

Tuesday looks to be a tougher day with strong westerly winds of 15-35 mph in the forecast for the afternoon with a slight chance for precip in the area.
