I do believe it is from the fires South of here. It is thick in Pueblo too.

Was attributing it to distant fires

I suspect a rainy weekend will dampen some folk's plans, but it appears that relief is on the way for the parched Southwest. I hope it helps the firefighters in their work.

Hi there. It is really smoky on Shadow Mtn. Is this from the fires down south? Just curious??

Increased smoke today is likely from the Genesee Park fire, as well as drift smoke from more distant fires

Moss Fire near Genesee Park is 100% contained now.

Probably not related, but it's been really smokey up here in WY too. We've got a fire west of me that may be the one affecting my corner, but it was weird yesterday--visibility very poor for the smoke and there was ash falling at my place. Coming in from the south, so may be something in CO. C'mon, rain!
