Maggie is a 12 year old declawed torti. She currently is in a foster home in California. She needs a special home as she is traumatized from the fire. She suffered no injuries, but was treated for smoke inhalation. I am contemplating bringing her out to Colorado, if I can find her a caring INDOOR only home. I would have to do a fundraiser to cover transportation costs, but thought I would put feelers out first about a home.

One of my cousins lives in South San Francisco and takes in elderly rescue cats. She currently has 4 so may be full up, but I will drop her a note. She is probably also plugged into rescue organizations in the area. I’ll let you know what I find out.

Thanks mummy. There are MANY cats right now that are unclaimed. Landlords won’t take them (I never understood this)and there just are not enough homes for all the people that lost them. Also, a cat sanctuary burned to the ground, these cats (42 I think) were all removed from the fire safely, but now have no where to go. It’s an extremely sad situation out there.

Still trying to find her a home. If that happens, we will bring her here. There are so many cats left behind there, it is heartbreaking
