06/10/2003: "3 possible Big Straw routes unveiled"
GRAND JUNCTION - Three possible routes for the so-called Big Straw project were unveiled at a forum Monday night.
The concept is to ship Colorado's share of the Colorado River from the Western Slope to thirsty Front Range cities and farms. The legislature authorized $500,000 to study the idea, with results due in November. The forum, which will be repeated in Frisco tonight, introduced three general routes to the public.
