Sex-education book to stay on shelves
GREELEY Weld County library officials have rejected a request to ban a sex education book, saying such a move would violate freedom of speech.
Jeannie McAllister of Evans had asked the library board to ban the book, Its Perfectly Normal: Changing Bodies, Growing Up, Sex & Sexual Health, after her young children brought it home. Illustrations include a couple having sex, a man putting on a condom and childbirth.
