High winds are fanning a growing wildfire in Larimer County, forcing several neighborhoods to evacuate.

Postal Inspectors offering reward leading to those responsible for south Evergreen mailbox attack
US Postal Inspectors are offering up to a $10,000 reward for the arrest and conviction of those responsible for last week’s attack on mail boxes in the south Evergreen/Marshdale Park neighborhood last week.

About 500-750 pieces of mail were taken from street mailboxes in that area on Wednesday, Nov. 5, with most of that mail then recovered in a nearby field near Marshdale Elementary School, according to Postal Inspectors. The recovered mail was then immediately taken to the Evergreen Post Office by the Jefferson County Sheriff’s Office. It was delivered to those residents by the Evergreen Post Office with a note of explanation.
