1 1/2 cup graham cracker crumbs
1/4 cup powdered sugar
1 tsp. allspice
1/3 cup melted butter
2 8 oz. cream cheese
2/3 cup sugar
2 eggs beaten lightly
2 tsp. vanilla
Topping: 6 Tbsp. sugar and 3 tsp. vanilla
mixed into 1 pint sour cream
|Crust: Mix ingredients together and put in spring form pan, pushing up around edges.
Filling: Cream sugar and cream cheese, beat in eggs and vanilla. Pour into pan over graham cracker crust. Bake 25 minutes at 350?.
Prepare Topping while cake is baking, stirring topping frequently to dissolve sugar.
Remove cake from oven after 25 minutes and increase heat to 450?.
When temp. reaches 450? gently pour topping over cake, beginning at the outside edges. If you "plop" it on, the cake will fall. Even out the topping and put back in the oven for 7 minutes at 450?.
Cool on a wire rack.
