Microwave Peanut Brittle

1 1/2 c. sugar
1/2 c. light corn syrup
1/2 c. water
dash salt
2 c. peanuts
1 tbls butter
1 tsp baking soda
1 tsp vanilla
Cooking Instructions:
Place sugar, corn syrup, water, salt, and peanuts in 2 quart microwave safe bowl. Cook on HI 5 minutes. Then stir. Cook on HI, rotating occasionally, 12 minutes or until it tests for hard crack (300 degrees on thermometer).

Remove from microwave and stir in butter, baking soda and vanilla until light and bubbly. Pout onto butter-greased cookie sheet. Spread until desired thickness. Let cook and then break into pieces.
