3 cups flour 1 1/2 tsp salt 1/2 cup lard 3/4 cup butter 3 tbsp sugar 1/2 cup water 3/8 cup vodka
Cut lard and butter into flour/salt/sugar mixture. Do not over cut - there should be small lumps of butter and lard remaining.
Mix in water/vodka mixture with a fork and knead several times until smooth.
Cover with plastic wrap and chill at least 2 hours.
Roll out, half at a time, on a slightly floured surface.
Take any remaining dough and roll out into a rectangle. Spread with softened butter and then sprinkle with sugar and cinnamon. Roll tightly and cut into short pieces. Bake until firm and browned. Cool.
