Hey all.

We are looking for folks in the Pine Grove, Buffalo Creek are who could maybe use a bit of a hand regarding food or gifts, during the Thanks Giving Christmas holidays.

Maybe you could P.M. us with the names, their situation, their addresses and other relevant details.

We try to do what we can.
While we have lived in camp every summer for now 27 years and know many kind and loving folks in this area. We now live here and will over time see those who could use a hand. For now we could use the guidance to them by our neighbors.

You may P.M. us Or you can email WhipHookAndPaddle@gmail.com. (the accessories you get with a Kitchenaid stand mixer, whip hook paddle, we like to cook)

Bless You and Yours
Kalli, Keo, Ron & Jodi

Although your intentions are commendable, I would see this as an invasion of privacy if people were to share the information you requested, without the person's permission. As a former social worker, I learned many people are very proud, do not want donations or interference in their lives, and may feel insulted. Is there a local agency you could work with to identify people in need who have asked for help? Thank you for your admirable wish to help others during the holidays.

Mountain Resource Center on Kitty Drive just off of 285 would be a good resource. If not for direct help from them, then from their second hand store that has very nice gifts (some brand new) for pennies on the dollar.

MRC's number is 303-838-7552.

Thanks for caring.

I thought of MRC too, but didn't know if they have many clients in the Buffalo Creek area. A couple of other options would be The Action Center in Lakewood - theactioncenter.org - or Seniors' Resource Center in Evergreen, 303-674-2843. Thanks again for your efforts.

Thank you for your concern and generosity.

The MRC Food Bank services many people from around the Conifer area and beyond.

Another place that is often overlooked and can always use food donations is the Life Bridge Food Bank in Bailey.

They are located @ 288 Main street (off the alley way next to the Chimney Doctors).

They are open:
FRIDAYS FROM 3-5PM &
SATURDAY FROM 9AM TO 12PM

Staff usually arrive 30 minutes before opening and that's the best time to bring donations.

If it helps, I have volunteered at a few food banks up here. I know folks from Pine Valley are making it there.
