I had forgotten that I had a YouTube channel and just discovered that it is still operational!

Here is a short video taken with my new iPhone 6 featuring Greater Sandhill Cranes on their migration north through Monte Vista, CO.
(I am still learning how to use this new generation of technology but it seems to have possibilities!)

The cranes are "re-fueling" in the farmlands of the San Luis Valley on their journey north to nesting grounds.
This is a quarter section of farmland in the Monte Vista National Wildlife Refuge.
You can see the "center pivot" irrigation system in the background.

It was very WINDY and quite COLD!
The wind almost drowns out the primal noise of the cranes "talking" to each other!
