I will have this puppy until Thursday and then he goes to a shelter to start the process of neutering, vaccinations, micro-chipping, training and hopefully getting into a new foster home or his permanent one. Intermountain Humane Society is short-staffed and full to capacity and cannot help although they are helping with food! If anyone else up here wants to take their turn at fostering him so he has a chance to stay up here please reach out to me with any questions before Thursday. I can testify he is super sweet, friendly, grateful, gentle, loving, trainable, quiet, sleeps through the night, puppy pad trained and great on a leash. He will be a worthy companion. I think he is afraid of my cats but I haven't put them together to see what would happen.

Thank you for all your efforts. I think a healthy respect of cats and wariness is a very good thing. Especially in a hunting breed. I will update my personal fb page with this timeline for assistance. Ultimately, since he’s been up circulating on social media as long as he has, getting him vetted and neutered is the best next step.

He’s so good. Thanks for your input and help! He also has been carrying around a stuffed animal friend. His personality is growing by the day. Someone will be sooooooo happy to have him for a companion. Just gotta get the word out. Fast.

He's a really nice looking dog. Thanks for going so far out of your way to look after him! I'll see if I can put together something together for NextDoor asking for a foster. My area covers from west Littleton at least until Shadow Mountain.

I don't mean to invade your privacy, however, if you wanted to keep him but are worried about his expenses, we could help out with that. He must be a good boy or you wouldn't be willing to have him in your house for so many days.

Regardless, we will keep trying.
