96 F250 351ci V8, automatic.

Failed emissions for CO levels - was 4.60/4.62 and the limit they say is 2.0. HC-PPM was borderline passing 296.4/271.7 vs 300 limit.

Hardly driven, probably 1000/yr or less for last 10 years, but live in Jeffco so need to get it to pass to renew plates. Passed with flying colors 2 years ago.

Any suggestions on where to take it where it can be fixed, and I can trust the work done. In Conifer area.

Thanks in advance.

Blessings,

I have found the guys at Sweet Peas in Pine Junction to be honest, thorough and reasonable rates.

Fill the tank 3/4 full with E65 from the station at Kings Valley, works every time on my '73 Scout, tip I got from the guy at the old CARQUEST in Conifer

I have a 1994 Jeep plow truck that I only drive 200-300 miles per year. Every time I take it for emissions I use a bottle of "Guaranteed to Pass" about $10-12 at O Reillys before I go and it always passes. If you have serious issues or tons of smoke it wont help but for close #s it should help.
